FilmGym’s first feature production, “The End Of Art”, has completed principal photography. The film is helmed by Philipp Christopher who also stars, alongside Michelle Glick and Lea Zoe Voss. The film will enter the festival circuit in 2025.
The Warner produced holocaust drama “The Windermere Children” was released to rave reviews on UK’s BBC2 and Germany’s ZDF. The film, directed by BAFTA winner Michael Samuels, tells the story of 300 children who survived the NAZI concentration camps and were taken to Windermere, England, to be rehabilitated. Starring Thomas Kretschmann, Iain Glen, Romola Garai and Philipp Christopher among others. The film is available for streaming on BBC iPlayer and the ZDF Mediathek.
We spoke to actor Philipp Christopher – who plays the role of Baum Arndt – a con-man – stuck with the other people in their quest for survival in deep space. Two alums from the Harry Potter movie franchise, Natalia Tena and Tom Felton, along with newcomer Sen Mitsuji, are set to topline Origin, YouTube’s upcoming sci-fi thriller series. Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, AVP: Alien vs. Predator) is directing the first two episodes of the show, from The Crown and Outlander producers Left Bank Pictures, Midnight Radio (CBS’ Zoo), CiTVC and Sony Pictures Television International Productions. Nora Arnezeder, Fraser James, Philipp Christopher, Madalyn Horcher, and Siobhán Cullen round out the series regular cast.
